Five Presidents scheduled to attend Buhari’s funeral in Daura
No fewer than five Presidents from different countries across the world are expected to attend the funeral of former Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari.
Buhari’s ex-media aide, Bashir Ahmad made the disclosure in a post on his official Facebook account on Monday.
He wrote, “So far, five presidents are expected to attend the Janaiza of former President Muhammadu Buhari”.
DAILY POST reports that the remains of Buhari, who died in London on Sunday after a prolonged sickness is expected back to the country by 12pm on Tuesday.
According to the Katsina State Government, the body will be laid to rest by 2pm in Daura, his hometown.
Presidents from African countries and beyond have been paying tribute to the late Nigerian leader.
The Vice President Kashim Shettima and other government officials are currently in London to accompany the remains back home.
