Female Reps Members Clash Over Rivers Crisis

There was drama in the House of Representatives on Wednesday as two female members took to verbal war over the declaration of emergency rule in Rivers State.
Marie Ebikake (PDP, Bayelsa) and Blessing Amadi (PDP, Rivers) engaged in a shouting match on the constitutionality of the President’s decision shortly before the start of plenary.
Members, however, stepped between the two women to prevent further escalation of the shouting match.
The situation was however brought under control even as a few members took opposing sides with the two women.
