Ex-Benue Gov, Suswam briefs PDP elders in Makurdi ahead of ADC’s unveiling
Senator Gabriel Suswam, on Wednesday, officially informed elders of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, the party’s decision to adopt the ADC as a platform to unsit the ruling APC in the country.
The meeting held in Makurdi, at the residence of Terngu Tsegba, Benue State Steering Committee Chairman of the National Coalition Movement.
Elders drawn from the 23 local government areas of the state attended the meeting in preparatory to the official unveiling of the African Democratic Congress, ADC to Benue people.
Senator Suswam said the same way the PDP was given to the local people, ADC will also be given to the people for ownership.
The former Governor sued for caution to allow people express themselves, without overbearing attitudes.
He advised that the winning spirit adopted by the PDP in the past be cultivated and leveraged ahead of 2027, stressing that joining the ADC is a matter of choice and not by coercion.
