Immediate past governor of Adamawa State, Umaru Jibrilla (Bindow) has formally joined the African Democratic Congress, ADC.
Bindow Jibrilla who was Adamawa governor under All Progressives Congress, APC, between 2015 and 2019 and previously senator for Adamawa North Zone between 2011 and 2015 formalized his membership of the ADC on Monday.
He registered in the party and received his ADC card at his ward in Mubi North Local Government Area.
By the new development, Bindow has become the third foremost Adamawa-born politician to leave for the coalition ADC.
Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar who was also the 2023 presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, had earlier left for the ADC, followed closely by the 2023 APC governorship candidate, Senator Aishatu Binani.
