Eric Ten Hag reacts to Manchester United’s 2-1 win against EPL rivals Brentford
Dutch tactician Eric Ten Hag has reacted to Manchester United’s 2-1 win against English Premier League rivals Brentford at Old Trafford on Saturday.
Ten Hag who has defiantly slammed “fairy tales and lies” about his future said that he is really happy for the fans after the victory against Brentford because they’ve always been behind the team.
The coach said that Manchester United is determined to win after a big setback while also noting that the only poor game the team has had was against Tottenham when the team was reduced to 10 men.
While speaking with the British media Erik Ten Hag said: “I’m really happy for our fans. They are always behind us, even when everyone is against us”.
“They stick with us and always support us. We say thank you”.
“We were determined to win after a big setback. Really enjoyed it, great football today”.
“Only poor game was against Tottenham when we were reduced to 10 men”.
“All the other games we showed some character and fighting spirit which we will build on”.
“I want to win every game and I want to make every season a success, with trophies and titles”.

The 54-year-old also commented on Marcus Rashford’s impact on the game which saw Brentford scoring first before Garnacho and Rasmus Hojlund scored two quick-fire goals to hand Manchester United three points.
“You can see what Rashford is capable of. A lot”.
“He started against Brentford with fighting spirit. When we all bring this we have a team that can play for trophies”.
“We have brilliant players; if you are determined then we will score goals and bring in wins. That’s what everyone expects”. He said.
