EPL: They beat England’s best teams – Maresca speaks ahead Chelsea vs Crystal Palace

Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has predicted a “very difficult” game when his side host Crystal Palace in their Premier League fixture on Sunday afternoon.

According to Maresca, Crystal Palace recently defeated England’s two best teams in the last 15 years.

Crystal Palace defeated Manchester City to win the FA Cup last season.

They also overcame Liverpool last weekend to win the Community Shield.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Friday, Maresca said: “Sunday’s game will be very difficult. [Crystal Palace won] the Community Shield against Liverpool and the FA Cup against Manchester City.

“So, in two finals, they beat two of the best teams in England in the last fifteen years. So it shows how complicated it’ll be on Sunday.”
