EPL: Maresca rules three Chelsea players out of Fulham clash

Chelsea manager, Enzo Maresca, has given an update on Cole Palmer’s fitness ahead of Saturday’s west London derby with Fulham at Stamford Bridge.

Palmer was injured in the warmup before their 5-1 win at West Ham last Friday.

The England midfielder will miss the game along with Benoit Badiashile and Romeo Lavia.

Maresca told reporters: “Cole [Palmer] is out, Benoit [Badiashile] is out, Romeo [Lavia] is out. The rest are okay.

“We need to see day by day [with Palmer], Romeo and Benoit, I don’t think they will be back after the international break, but they will be closer.

“I spoke to Thomas [Tuchel], but in the end it is his decision and he decided [not to select him], but he is not available tomorrow, so is normal [that he was not picked by England] and he has some problems.”
