EPL: I’m a quality, highly technical player – Joao Pedro
Brazilian striker, Joao Pedro, has described himself as a quality and highly technical player.
The Brazilian said this while explaining why his big-money transfer from Brighton & Hove Albion to Chelsea is ‘easier’ compared to other transfers this summer.
Before joining Chelsea this summer, Pedro, 23, netted 10 goals and provided six assists for Brighton last season,
Chelsea paid £60 million to get the deal done back in June and the Brazilian attacker joined up with Blues and participated in the FIFA Club World Cup.
Pedro helped Enzo Maresca’s side emerge victorious in the competition, scoring both goals in a 2-0 win over his former side Fluminense in the semi-final.
The Blues defeated Paris Saint-Germain 3-0 in the final.
Speaking on JioHotstar, Pedro said, “I’m happy to have joined [Chelsea].
“I’m a very technical player. I love to score goals. When I was younger, I also played in midfield, so I can provide good passes to my teammates. Overall, I’d say I’m a quality, technical player.”
The Brazilian attacker would be hoping to lead the race for the Golden Boot in the 2025/26 season.
