EPL: He does it every season – Paul Merson hails Liverpool star

Arsenal legend Paul Merson has showered praise on Liverpool winger Mohammed Salah following his impressive display for the Reds against Ipswich Town last weekend.

Salah scored a goal as Liverpool defeated Ipswich 2-0 in their Premier League opener.

Speaking about the Egypt international, Merson said the 32-year-old can’t stop scoring, adding that he does it every season.

According to him, Salah is the ‘Frank Lampard of Liverpool’.

“You can’t talk highly enough of Salah—how many goals is that now and he plays right wing? He’s right winger, it is just mind-blowing,” Merson said on Sky Sports.

“He does it every season and he’s the Frank Lampard of Liverpool, but playing right wing.”
