EPL: Bassey tips Silva for England top jobs

Calvin Bassey believed Fulham manager, Marco Silva has what it takes to manage the top teams in the Premier League, DAILY POST.

The Whites have impressed with their attacking brand of football since Silva arrived at Craven Cottage in 2021.

Fulham finished in an impressive 11th position in the Premier League last season, barely missing out on a place in Europe.

The West London club were also eliminated at the quarter-final stage of the Emirates FA Cup by Crystal Palace.

Silva has been recently linked with the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Wolverhampton Wanderers, and Brentford.

Bassey claimed it is a matter of time before the Portuguese get the opportunity to coach at the highest level.

“I think he’s, for me, one of the best managers in the Premier League, and no doubt, for sure, in a couple of years, he could be right at the top end of managing one of the best teams in the Premier League,” the Nigeria international told Sky Sports.
