EPL: Arteta picks Arsenal’s best player in 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest
Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has praised Noni Madueke for his “exceptional” performance, as they thrashed Nottinghak Forest 3-0 on Saturday.
Madueke was a constant threat down the right wing for the Gunners.
The former Chelsea winger was one of five summer signings that started the game, along with Martin Zubimendi, who scored twice.
“The new ones that started, five of them today, I was really impressed with them,” Arteta told reporters.
“You can sense and feel that there are new relationships flourishing there. They are going to give us different things to be unpredictable.
“Noni, I thought he was exceptional. We played a front three that had never played [together] before. Overall I am very happy.”
The win took Arsenal’s tally to nine points from four fixtures.
