Enugu Governor Appoints New Commissioners, Head Of Service

The Enugu State Governor, Dr. Peter Mbah, has approved the appointment of new commissioners and Head Of Service.

A statement on Thursday by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Chidiebere Onyia, said the names have been transmitted to the State House of Assembly for confirmation.

The statement listed the Commissioner-nominees as Engr. Benjamin Osita Okoh, Prof. Benedeth Ekwutosi Okoli, Eyinna Franklin Ogbonna, Dr. Samuel Ogbu-Nwobodo, Prof. George Ugwu and Ben Collins Ndu Jr.

The Governor has also approved the appointment of Dr. Godwin Anigbo as the Enugu State Head of Service.

The appointment of Anigbo, he said, takes effect immediately.
