Eno To Flag-Off Int’l Hospital, Conference Center, Ibom Hotels In 2nd Anniversary

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno, has disclosed plans to flag-off key projects in the State as part of activities to mark his second anniversary in office.
This was disclosed by the governor during the May edition of Government House Monthly Covenant Service held at the Banquet Hall, Government House, Uyo.
Some of the projects include a 200 bed Ibom International hospital, a 5000 seater Ibom International Convention Centre, and a 200 bed Ibom Hotel.
He announced that an interdenominational thanksgiving service to commemorate the anniversary is scheduled for May 25, 2025, at the International Christian Worship Center and noted that this event will provide an opportunity for the State to collectively express gratitude to God for His faithfulness and mercies over the past two years.
Regarding the empowerment initiative of his administration, he urged affluent residents of Akwa Ibom not to allow their children to participate in various programs designed for the less fortunate.
He also encouraged those interested in benefiting from government initiatives, such as empowerment and employment opportunities, to register on the State’s designated portals, as names will be collected from there for interviews and potential job placements.
Governor Eno stressed the importance of maintaining the current peace and unity within the State and urged everyone to refrain from engaging in unnecessary speculation and conjecture, as such actions could be counterproductive.
