Edo Decides: INEC officials yet to arrive Ighodalo’s polling unit

Officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and election materials have yet to arrive at Idrion Vocational Centre, a voting center in Okaegben, Ewohimi, Esan South East Local Government Area of Edo State.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Edo governorship election, Dr. Asue Ighodalo, is expected to vote at Okaegben Ward 1, Polling Unit 3, located at the vocational center in Ewohimi, Edo Central Senatorial District.

Eligible voters were reportedly gathered in clusters, awaiting the arrival of INEC officials and materials.

It was also gathered that security personnel have arrived, waiting for the INEC officials despite a heavy downpour.

As of the time of filing this report, the rain, which started at 6:30 a.m., is still ongoing.
