Don’t Use Priscilla Ojo’s Wedding As Benchmark, Relationship Coach Cautions Ladies
Nigerian life coach and internet personality Solomon Buchi has urged women not to succumb to social media pressure following the opulent wedding of Priscilla Ojo and Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, which was held in Lagos on Saturday.
The highly publicised wedding, tagged “JP 2025”, became the talk of the town and trended across social media platforms.
Priscilla, daughter of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, dazzled alongside her groom in a lavish ceremony.
Reacting to the online buzz, Buchi took to his social media handles to caution women against turning the glamorous event into a benchmark for their relationships.
He wrote, “As you celebrate Priscilla and Juma’s wedding, I hope you don’t burden someone’s son with obsessing and wanting that kind of wedding. I hope you admire it from afar, but you are wise enough to know you cannot have it that big and grand.”
Buchi called for financial wisdom in relationships and encouraged couples to plan weddings within their means.
“Some will have a parlour wedding, some will have a fairly decent wedding. Some will wear two outfits, others will wear 20 outfits — but let everyone cut their coat according to their cloth,” he advised.
