A pilot of a Delta Airlines has been arrested and detained after landing in San Francisco by federal agents.

The pilot whose identity has not been disclosed, was reportedly arrested at 9:30 p.m. on Saturday when passengers were about to deplane.

Not less than 10 federal agents including Homeland Security Investigation, HSI officers said to have arrested the pilot at California airport without explanation.

A passenger identified as Sarah Christianson told the San Francisco Chronicle that the crew appeared equally in the dark, as the second pilot announced that he had “no idea what had just happened.”

After the pilot was led away by the entourage of law enforcement, his bag was carted away by another group of officers.

DAILY POST reports that it wasn’t clear at the time of this report if the arrest was tied to the pilot’s immigration status or something else.
