Davido, Rema, Odumodublvck Win Big At Headies
It was a big night for Nigerian songwriter and singer Rema at the 17th edition of the Headies Awards as he clinched the awards for Album of the Year and Producer of the Year.
Rema’s HEIS album won the Album of the Year category ahead of Asake’s Work of Art and Ayra Starr’s the Year I Turned 21.
The event, which was held in Lagos after two consecutive years in Atlanta, Georgia, U.S.A., was themed “Back to Base”
In the Next Rated category, rapper Odumodublvk defeated Shallipopi and Ayo Maff, while Davido was announced winner of the newly created Digital Artiste of the Year category.
Funke Akindele’s record-breaking movie, ‘A Tribe Called Judah’, won the newly introduced Soundtrack of the Year award.
