Conference League: You’re not consistent – Maresca tells Chelsea forward after Servette win

Chelsea manager, Enzo Maresca, has demanded more consistency from Noni Madueke following their 2-0 win over Servette in their UEFA Conference League play-off.

Madueke came off the bench to score the second goal after Christopher Nkunku opened the scoring from the penalty spot.

Maresca has now told reporters that he likes Madueke as a player, but called on him to produce more if he is to feature prominently.

He said: “I really like Noni, the only problem with him is that he needs to understand he needs to be consistent during the week, in every training session.

“He’s a good player and he’s doing well with us since we started.

“I really like the player but as I said until the transfer window closes, anything can happen. But for sure he is the kind of player that I like.”
