The Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun told Nigerian Senators that she is known for integrity and discipline.

She spoke on Wednesday at the Red Chamber during her screening by the lawmakers.

Kekere-Ekun also vowed to ensure that petitions are dealt with speedily to foster integrity within the judiciary.

She pledged to do her best and uphold the integrity of the judiciary, uphold the rule of law and defend the Constitution of Nigeria.

“I am known for integrity and discipline, I will ensure zero tolerance for corruption,” Kekere-Ekun assured.

DAILY POST earlier reported that Justice Kekere-Ekun was being drilled by the Senate for her confirmation.

Recall that in August, President Bola Tinubu swore in Justice Kekere-Ekun as the 23rd and second female Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN.
