Chelsea confirm deal for Ampah
Chelsea on Friday confirmed that winger Ato Ampah has signed a new deal with the Blues to remain at Stamford Bridge until 2028.
The Premier League west London club made this known in a post on their official website.
Ampah, 19, joined Chelsea’s Academy as an under-11 from grassroots football.
The player has since developed at every stage of the youth teams at Chelsea.
He also displayed his quality in both the Under-18s and Under-21s teams in the last four years.
Ampah made 29 appearances for the Under-21s in all competitions, scoring five goals last term.
He was given his senior debut last season during Chelsea’s UEFA Conference League win against Astana in Kazakhstan.
Ampah also represented England’s Under-18 team at the national team level in the past.
He will hope to get some playing game-time under manager Enzo Maresca this season.
