Three countries have qualified for the quarter-finals of the ongoing African Nations Championship, CHAN, tournament.

The three countries are Madagascar, Kenya and Tanzania.

DAILY POST reports that Madagascar is the latest team to qualify for the last-8 following the conclusion of Group B fixtures played on Saturday.

Madagascar defeated Burkina Faso 2-1 on Saturday evening to progress to the quarter-final.

They finished in second place in Group B with 7 points from 4 games.

Madagascar is behind group leaders Tanzania, who have 10 points from the same number of games.

They are also head of third position Mauritania (third position with 7 points) on goals difference.

The likes of Burkina and Central African Republic sit in fourth and fifth positions in Group B with 3 points and 1 point, respectively, after four matches.
