CHAN 2024: Sudan clash must win for Home Eagles — Chelle

Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has declared that his team will be gunning for victory against Sudan, DAILY POST reports.

The Eagles lost their opening fixture at the 2024 African Nations Championship 1-0 to defending champions Senegal.

The West Africans will take on Sudan in their second game at the Amman Stadium, Zanzibar on Tuesday.

Nigeria must get a positive result from the game to avoid an early ouster.

Chelle acknowledged the importance of the game, and declared that they will fight for maximum points.

“It’s a big game, it’s an important game (vs Sudan), we need to win tomorrow and after that we will see,” he told reporters.
