CHAN 2024: How we tamed Home Eagles – Sudan forward Yagoub

Sudan forward, Abdel Raouf Yagoub has reacted to his side’s impressive victory over Nigeria, DAILY POST reports.

Kwesi Appiah’s side recorded a shocking 4-0 victory over the home-based Super Eagles at the Amman Stadium, Zanzibar on Tuesday night.

The heavy loss sent Nigeria packing from the 2024 African Nations Championship.

Yagoub scored twice for Sudan in the second half.

The striker said they capiltised on Nigeria’s mistakes to win the game.

“They are very slow on the ball, and their recovery rate is very poor — that’s what we capitalised on. Their defence made a lot of mistakes,” Yagoub said after the game.
