Champions League Results: PSG Defeat Man City, Feyenoord Stun Bayern Munich
The Champions League produced another round of entertaining matches on Wednesday with stunning results across the board. PSG fought back from a 2-0 deficit to defeat Manchester City 4-2 in Paris.
Jack Grealish, and Erling Haaland gave the visitors a 2-0 lead early in the first half before a quick fire response from Ousmane Dembele, and Bradley Barcola within four minutes brought PSG back into the game.
João Neves made it 3-2 in the 79th minute before Goncalo Ramos made it 4-2 in the 91st minute to condemn Man City to another loss in the Champions League.
The victory moved PSG up to 22nd on the table, while Manchester City are rooted to the 25th position.
Guardiola’s team have earned just eight points from seven games with one match to go.
Manchester City will be in the play-offs and unseeded if they beat Club Bruges at home in the final match. They will be eliminated from European competition if they draw or lose against the Belgians.
Feyenoord stunned Bayern Munich 3-0 thanks to a brace from Santiago Jimenez, and a late strike from Ueda to boost their second round hopes.
Arsenal earned a deserved 3-0 win over Dinamo Zagreb at the Emirates Stadium with goals from Declan Rice, Kai Havertz, and Martin Odegaard enough to hand them the maximum points.
Real Madrid earned a comfortable 5-1 win over RB Salzburg courtesy of a brace apiece from Rodrygo, and Vinicius Junior and a strike from Kylian Mbappe.
The victory moved the defending champions up to 16th on the log with 12 points from seven games.
Rafael Leao scored the only goal to lead AC Milan to a 1-0 win over Girona, while Inter Milan earned a 1-0 win over Sparta Prague.
RB Leipzig defeated Sporting Lisbon 2-1 in Germany, Shaktar Donetsk earned a 2-0 win over Brest, and Celtic pipped Young Boys 1-0.
The final matches will be played on January 29 at the same time.
