CAFWCL: Final match schedule unveiled
The final schedule for the 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League has been unveiled, DAILY POST reports.
DR Congo’s TP Mazembe will take on South Africa’s University of the Western Cape in the opening fixture of the competition on Saturday, November 9.
The encounter will hold at the M’Hamed El Abdi Stadium in El Jadida.
Hosts AS FAR of Morocco will face Senegal’s Aigles de la Medina later in the day at the same ground.
Nigerian champions, Edo Queens will slug it out with Ethiopia’s CBE FC in a Group B game the following day.
Title holder Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa will be up against Egypt’s FC Masar in the other Group B fixture.
The competition will run from November 9 to November 23 in the cities of El Jadida and Casablanca, Morocco.
