CAF Champions League Draw: Remo Stars, Rivers United seeding pots revealed

Remo Stars and Rivers United have been placed in Pot 3 and Pot 7, respectively, ahead of the CAF Champions League preliminary round draw.

The draw ceremony will hold in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, on Saturday (today).

Sixty-two clubs will participate in this season’s edition of the competition.

Remo Stars and Rivers United will hope for a favourable draw as they bid to become the first Nigerian club to win the CAF Champions League since Enyimba in 2004.

The preliminary round of the competition will kick off next month.

All participating clubs will receive $100,000 at this stage of the competition.
