CAF Champions League: Comoros club US Zilimadjou to adopt Godswill Akpabio Stadium as home ground

Comoros club US Zilimadjou could adopt the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo as their home ground for the CAF Champions League, according to reports.

US Zilimadjou original home ground Stade de Moroni failed to meet CAF’s requirements to host international matches.

US Zilimadjou will lock horns with Nigeria Premier Football League champions, Rangers in the preliminary round.

They will host the first leg on Saturday, August 18.

The return leg will take place on Saturday , August 23.

The winner of the two- legged encounter will face the winner between Saint Louis and Sagrada Esperanca in the next round.

Rangers are currently preparing for the new season in Enugu.
