Nigeria’s former President Muhammadu Buhari will be buried at his favourite sitting spot in his compound in Daura, Katsina State.

The President, Tinubu, Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, Vice President Shettima, Former Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, among other Governors, former Governors and dignitaries are currently gathered at the graveside, awaiting the Former President Buhari’s body for the interment.

DAILY POST reported on Sunday that ex-President Muhammadu Buhari passed on in the most expensive private hospital in London, the United Kingdom.

The Katsina born politician served as a military head of state and a democratically elected Nigerian President of Nigeria from 2015 to 2023.

During the time he was president, Buhari spent at least 225 days away from Nigeria on medical trips and it remains unclear what ailment he was being treated for.

His longest was in May 2017 when he departed for London for a medical pilgrimage lasting 104 days.

Before his death, Buhari spent 10 days to two weeks in the London clinic.

Images emerging from his compound in Daura show that his family chose the exact spot he frequently sat for his burial.
