BREAKING: Senator Natasha Submits Another Sexual Harassment Petition Against Akpabio

The senator representing the Kogi central senatorial district, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has submitted another petition to the Senate alleging sexual harassment against the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio.
This time around, she said the petition was signed and authored by one of her constituents, named Suberu Yakubu.
Natasha brought the petition pursuant to Order 40 of the Senate Standing Rules.
Akpabio, who was presiding over the plenary, rebuffed attempts by about three senators to block Natasha from submitting the petition.
The Senate President, however, asked Natasha if the subject of the petition was not already before a court, to which she replied, “No, sir.” She was then asked to submit the report to the Senate.
The Whistler reported earlier that the Senate Committee on Ethics, Privileges, and Public Petitions on Wednesday threw out her initial petition, citing procedural flaws.
