Chairman of the Honeywell Group, Oba Otudeko

Counsel for the Chairman of the Honeywell Group, Oba Otudeko, on Monday at the Federal High Court, Lagos, protested lack of service to his client in the N12.3bn fraud charge by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Mr Bode Olanipekun, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, told the court that he has not been served the charge for Otudeko and his two other co-defendants.

The EFCC had preferred a 13-count charge against Otudeko, a former Managing Director of First Bank Plc., Olabisi Onasanya; and a former board member of Honeywell, Soji Akintayo.

They were charged alongside a firm, Anchorage Leisure Ltd.

EFCC alleged that the defendants obtained the sum under false pretence from First Bank.
