Breaking : DSS Seals Up IBB Golf Club Abuja

Prestigious IBB Golf club Abuja has been sealed by the DSS

CKNNews learnt that the elite golf club was sealed on Saturday due to internal wranglings involving some members 

Investigation revealed that the seal up was instigated by some powerful members to disrupt a general meeting scheduled for 3pm today 

It is not yet ascertained who invited the secret police as at the time of this report 

But we were able to obtain a statement issued by the Captain of the golf club to all member which read thus

OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM THE CAPTAIN

Today for the first time in the history of IBB International Golf and Country Club we have faced an unfortunate and unexpected incident, due to the actions of a tiny minority with vested interest Security agencies have moved to seal our Club in attempt to disrupt our scheduled Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) @ 3:00pm. As a law abiding membership Club, we remain committed to following due process.

We are engaging with our members, urging everyone to remain calm and assuring that all necessary legal steps will be taken to ensure that the process of filling the Board of Trustees (BOT) vacancies is conducted correctly. Despite the attempts to derail this process we remain steadfast in upholding the integrity and Governance of our Club. 

We will not relent in our efforts to ensure that fairness, transparency and due process prevail. I encourage all members to stay calm and await further updates as we navigate this situation. Be rest assured that we will keep you informed as developments unfold.
