Blockchain Lender Joins Crypto IPO Wave With $526M Raise Target

Blockchain fintech company Figure Technology Solutions is preparing to go public, targeting a $4.3 billion valuation through a $526 million initial public offering (IPO). The San Francisco-based firm disclosed in its SEC filing that it will offer 21.5 million shares priced between $18 and $20, with 4.9 million of those shares coming from existing investors. The company expects to finalise the pricing on September 10.

The figure has rapidly scaled in recent years. Originally launched as a digital home loan provider, it has since evolved into a blockchain-driven platform leveraging the Provenance Blockchain to streamline lending, asset management, and other financial products.

The firm reported $191 million in revenue in the first half of this year, signalling a sharp growth trajectory compared to previous cycles. Its current IPO bid builds on earlier momentum from a $200 million Series D round in 2021, led by 10T Holdings, which valued the company at $3.2 billion.

The IPO not only provides an opportunity for new investors to buy into one of the most prominent blockchain finance firms but also gives early backers a chance to exit partially.

The timing aligns with a broader wave of crypto-related firms moving toward public markets. Gemini, the U.S.-based crypto exchange, filed for a $317 million IPO earlier this week, while Kraken has been rumoured to be eyeing a 2026 IPO that could value it at $15 billion.

Industry watchers say Figure’s public debut highlights growing institutional confidence in blockchain-powered finance, even amid regulatory scrutiny. If successful, the IPO could strengthen Figure’s push to position itself as a leader in decentralised financial infrastructure.
