Bendel Insurance head coach, Greg Ikhenoba said his side was impressive in their performance but noted that there are still areas for improvement in the team.
He said: ”Yes, it is a pre-season tournament where you have to see how your team plays cohesively. The goals are good but I am not moved by that, my interest is how we play together and understand each other before the league commences.
”We came here with many players and we will continue to work hard. Opportunities will certainly be given to those that have not played in the next match and that is the important thing in this kind of platform”, he maintained.
Despite the heavy defeat, Kun Khalifat head coach, Obinna Uzoho believes that his team would improve before the league commences, attributing the loss to elementary errors that would be corrected in subsequent games.
Earlier, Warri Wolves Technical Adviser, Napoleon Alumua noted that the players are gradually blending into his philosophy, describing EGM FC as a good team.
