BBNaija S10: ‘Big Brother We’re Watching You’ – Viewers React

The Big Brother house is no stranger to tension, but recent diary sessions have ignited fresh controversy among fans, with accusations that production may be handling some housemates with kid gloves.
This week, RooBoy voiced his frustrations with fellow housemates Isabella and Imisi, admitting his patience was running thin.
“I have issues with Isabella and Imisi, because I won’t lie to you, Imisi has been quite annoying,” he said during his diary session.
“I tried being her friend so that maybe we can be on the same page, but it seems that she feels that she can do more than anybody else, and that’s why I’m concerned.”
While housemate feuds are nothing new, what has stirred debate outside the house is how Big Brother himself appears to be managing the conflicts.
Popular analyst Glory Elijah, who closely follows the show, argued that production risks undermining an otherwise promising season by favouring certain contestants during diary sessions.
“This season started off on a very fantastic note. Everybody was happy, no complaints whatsoever,” Glory said, noting that housemates had been “doing all the work” to keep viewers entertained without relying on twists or gimmicks.
But she warned: “Big Brother needs to be careful… because what I’m seeing is some level of favouritism, especially when it comes to how Imisi is handled.”
Glory accused Big Brother of “romancing her feelings” and allowing her to “marinate everything with tears” without calling her out for allegedly fuelling chaos in the house. By contrast, she said other contestants such as Faith were “interrogated like the guy killed somebody.”
The perception of bias has sparked a wider conversation among viewers online.
“To be honest I expected more from biggie interrogating her, because she is ranting about being insulted by rooboy while she did the most insulting kaybobo” Ane said.
“Unfortunately, it appears that the outcome of the competition is predetermined from the start, which can be discouraging for those who were hoping for a fair and impartial process. Use ilebaye as a case study!” Said another user on X.
Meanwhile, beyond the diary room, shifting alliances and brewing rivalries have kept the house on edge. Jason Jay and Sultana’s reconciliation after days of animosity left some viewers questioning his motives, while Dede’s growing closeness with Koyin has reshaped dynamics in the group as she described him as her bestie during his birthday celebration.
Mide and Bright’s faltering relationship added another layer of drama, with Mide expressing frustration that she had “made things too easy.”
Gigi Jasmine, on her part, once again attracted criticism for what many viewers described as a manipulative diary room performance.
She attempted to downplay her role in a recent food-related dispute, yet broke into tears while speaking about Denari, insisting he had appeared “subdued” ever since drawing closer to Doris.
Denari himself has increasingly struggled to assert his presence in the game, with his relationship with Doris becoming a focal point of house gossip.
Observers note that Doris frequently seeks external validation from fellow housemates about their bond, a habit that has fuelled doubts about the genuineness of the pairing and left Denari looking overshadowed.
THE WHISTLER reports that Faith and Dede emerged winners of the Super Commando task.
With fan-favourite tasks and unexpected clashes unfolding daily, the season remains unpredictable. Yet, as Glory cautioned, whether production maintains a fair balance in managing housemates, could determine how viewers ultimately judge the show.
