Bandits attack mosque, abduct many in Zamfara

Bandits attacked worshippers during the early morning prayer in Dansadau, Zamfara State, on Sunday, abducting several people.

The incident was contained in a post by security analyst, Bakatsine on X, who said the attack happened during Subhi prayer.

Similarly, around 6 a.m., bandits struck Wakeh village in Kaduna State, killing and injuring residents.

“This morning, bandits attacked worshippers during Subhi prayer in Dansadau, Zamfara State, abducting several.

“Around 6am, they also struck Wakeh in Kaduna State, killing and injuring residents,” Bakatsine wrote.

According to the security analyst, the Northwest is under siege as attacks have escalated.

So far, security agencies are yet to make an official statement on the incidents.
