Bandits abduct Kaduna man in late night attack
Bandits have kidnapped a man, Zaharaddeen Magaji, from his home in Gazara Village, Makarfi Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The attack happened on Wednesday, September 11, at about 11:50 p.m when the gunmen stormed the community and began shooting sporadically.
According to a post by security analyst, Zagazola Makama on Saturday, security forces quickly mobilised to the area and recovered one empty magazine, one live round of ammunition, a pair of rubber shoes, and ten empty AK-47 shells left behind by the attackers.
Troops chased the kidnappers and exchanged gunfire with them, but the bandits managed to escape with Magaji.
Security agencies have assured residents that efforts are ongoing to rescue the victim safely and bring those responsible to justice.
