Ballon d’Or: Morata names top two players to win 2024 award

AC Milan striker, Alvaro Morata has picked Manchester City midfielder, Rodri and Real Madrid’s Dani Carvajal as favourites to win the Ballon d’Or in 2024.

This year’s Ballon d’Or ceremony will be held on October 28 at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, according to France Football.

Spain Internationals, Rodri and Carvajal are among the players listed for the most prestigious individual award.

Rodri won the Club World Cup and the UEFA Super Cup with Manchester City last season.

He was also instrumental in Spain’s UEFA Euro 2024 glory, earning the coveted Player of the Tournament prize after they defeated England 2-1 to win the tournament.

When asked about his favorites to win the 2024 Ballon d’Or, Alvaro Morata said (via @MadridXtra on X): “Rodri or Carvajal.”
