Brazilian winger, Estevao, has said he hope to rival Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal and River Plate’s Franco Mastantuono for the Ballon d’Or in the near future.

The Chelsea-bound player also labelled both youngsters as great players.

“[Lamine] is a great player who had an incredible season,” Estevao told AS.

“I followed him closely in the UEFA Champions League and I was really rooting for him.”

Speaking on Mastantuono, the Brazilian added, “He is also a great payer that has incredible potential.”

“I sincerely hope so [to compete with them for the Ballon d’Or in the future].

“We’re all the same age and It would very interesting to find ourselves in that situation.”

Estevao and Mastantuono aren’t expected to challenge for the Ballon d’Or this year, but Yamal will ultimately challenge for the award.
