Ballon d’Or 2025: Mourinho names four players that should win award

Fenerbahce manager, Jose Mourinho, has said one of his compatriots playing at Paris Saint-Germain deserves to win the Ballon d’Or award this year.

In an interview with Canal 11, Mourinho named the players as Vitinha, Goncalo Ramos, Joao Neves and Nuno Mendes.

According to him, PSG were the best team last season, having won the Ligue 1, Coupe de France and Champions League.

“I think this PSG team is the best team of the season, and these Portuguese players [Vitinha, Joao Neves, Nuno Mendes]… Gonçalo Ramos played less, despite often being decisive,” Mourinho said.

“I’d like one of them to win [the Ballon d’Or], obviously.

“But then Jorge Mendes will get mad at me because he only thinks [Lamine] Yamal, his player, should win!”
