Arsenal Demolish Leeds 5-0 as Gyokeres Shines in Emirates Rout
Arsenal moved to the top of the Premier League table with a commanding 5-0 victory over Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium, marking their second consecutive win of the season.

The afternoon belonged to more than just established stars, however. Fifteen-year-old Max Dowman made his Arsenal debut and immediately caught the eye, “running riot” in the attacking third during his cameo appearance. The teenager’s impact was immediate and decisive, winning the penalty that allowed Gyokeres to complete his brace.
For Leeds United, the result represents their first defeat since earning promotion back to the Premier League. The Yorkshire club managed just 0.16 expected goals in the second half, rarely threatening Aaron Ramsdale’s goal as Arsenal’s defensive structure remained largely intact throughout.
The comprehensive nature of the defeat will provide plenty of food for thought for the Leeds manager as they look to establish themselves back in the top flight after their return from the Championship.
With this victory, Arsenal have now won both of their opening Premier League fixtures, sending an early statement of intent to their title rivals. The clinical nature of their performance, combined with contributions from both new signings and academy graduates, suggests Arteta has successfully blended experience with youth in his squad.
