Armed thugs attack islamic scholar in Kano
Armed thugs attacked an Islamic teacher, Malam Kabiru Idris, and his wife in their home at Danrimi in Fagge Local Government Area on Wednesday night leading to a scuffle that caused tge scholar to sustain multiple injuries.
Speaking to journalist on Thursday, Malam Idris revealed the armed thugs stormed his home while he and his wife are sleeping threatening to kill him.
“They made it clear that they were not there to steal, but to kill me, it was a terrifying experience” He revealed he found the courage to fight when they tried to assault his wife“I could not stand by and watch such a thing happen before my eyes, so i fought really hard and by the grace of God we survived ” he said.
The Kano Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, assured the incidence would be thoroughly investigated.
He assure further details will be revealed to journalists as soon as more facts are gathered, reiterating that the police remain committed to ensuring the safety of all residents.
