APC Will Reclaim Shanono, Bagwai Seats In Court, Rep Vows

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has vowed to challenge the outcome of the rerun election in Shanono and Bagwai constituencies, insisting the party’s influence in Kano North remains unshaken.
Sani Bala Tsanyawa, who represents the Tsanyawa/Ghari Federal Constituency, declared on Friday in Kano that the APC’s defeat was only made possible by what he described as a “rigged process that fell short of electoral standards”.
According to him, “historically, APC has never lost Shanono and Bagwai, including my Tsanyawa/Ghari constituency, because Kano North is entirely our stronghold. To say we have lost those areas is a lie.”
The lawmaker stressed that the party was convinced of reclaiming victory, describing the election as “a sham that cannot stand the test of time”.
Tsanyawa added that the APC’s rising momentum nationwide, driven by President Bola Tinubu’s policies, was proof that the party remains the dominant national force.
