The new National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Nentawe Yilwatda, has given a hint on when the former presidential candidate of the New Nigerian Peoples Party, NNPP, Rabiu Kwankwaso, will join the party.

He stated this on Thursday while fielding questions on Channels TV’s Politics Today programme, noting that the doors of the party are open.

He said: “I told you, our doors are open. When everybody’s time is due, it will manifest itself. And that is for everybody who has come back. It’s just a matter of time for people, and they will see on their own, seeing the manifesto of the party, seeing the performance of the government, seeing also what the president, those thoughts the President has taken.

“If you’re a governor you would discover that last month the revenue of the government increased by over 40 per cent, and certainly I will keep on counting.

“You know that before now, most governors borrow money to pay salaries. Now, no government borrows money to pay salary.”
