Anambra Guber: Jude Ezenwafor Emerges PDP Candidate
A real estate developer, Chief Jude Ezenwafor, has emerged as the flagbearer of the Peoples Democratic Party for the Anambra State governorship election scheduled for November 8, 2025.
The leader of the PDP national committee for the primary election, Chijioke Onwubuya, declared Ezenwafor as the winner on Tuesday.
Ezenwafor, the sole candidate of the PDP, received unanimous support from all 853 party delegates representing the 21 local government areas in the state.
Although Ezenwafor was the only contestant, each delegate received a ballot paper to record the name of the candidate they voted for according to their local governments.
Accepting the nomination, Ezenwafor said, “I thank all the delegates for the massive support and endorsement. We are going to work hard to ensure the party wins the governorship election.”
Ezenwafor will contest against Governor Chukwuma Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and Nicholas Ukachukwu of the All Progressives Congress at the November 8 governorship election.
