Anambra 2025: LP’s George Moghalu Pledges People-Centred Campaign

The Labour Party candidate for the Anambra governorship election George Moghalu has declared his readiness to lead his party into the government house.
Beyond the declaration, Moghalu expressed his readiness to hit the road ahead of the November 8 governorship election campaign which kicks off on Wednesday.
Moghalu, who addressed party members in his Anambra residence, pledged to centre his campaign strategy around issues affecting Anambra citizens and residents.
“I reassure NdiAnambra that we are going to kick off our campaign, which will take us to all the nooks and crannies of the state, where we will sell our programme.
“There is quite a lot to say and do on the campaign trail, but one thing I know is that it’s about the people.
“Our campaign is going to be people-centred. It is about the people of Anambra state; it is about changing the narrative; it is about restoring the confidence of our people in their government.”
On his electoral chances, the LP candidate said he was confident of winning the poll: “We want to bring the Labour Party into the governance of Anambra state.
He also expressed confidence that the election would be free, fair and credible, adding “This election is about the people of Anambra state.
“Anambra people will choose their next governor, not people from outside. Nobody is going to impose anybody on us.
“Anambra people will decide who will lead them. I can assure you that people’s votes must count in Anambra.”
