Operatives of Western Nigeria Security Network (WNSN) also known as Amotekun in Oyo State, have rescued a man who was kidnapped recently in Ibadan, the state capital.

DAILY POST gathered that a man identified as Abdulahi Ajibike was kidnapped on Tuesday, in Akinyele Local Government Area of Ibadan.

The victim was rescued by operatives of Amotekun in the state on Thursday, around 4 p.m, near Orita Perin.

The State Commandant of Amotekun, Col. Olayinka Olayanju (rtd) confirmed the rescue of the kidnapped victim to DAILY POST on Friday.

Olayanju, in a telephone conversation with DAILY POST, noted that the man had been reunited with his family.

He said, “We rescued the man. It was yesterday that he was rescued.
