All Countries that have been eliminated from 2026 World Cup qualification race

More than 80 countries have failed in their quest to secure qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

This comes following the conclusion of the September World Cup qualifiers played across the globe.

In the Africa zone, about 18 nations have failed in their quest to secure next year’s World Cup ticket after recording the lowest points in their different groups.

DAILY POST reports that the countries are Congo, Chad, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Eswatini, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Lesotho, Mauritania, Mauritius, São Tomé and Príncipe, Seychelles, Somalia, South Sudan, The Gambia, Togo, Burundi and Central African Republic

Here are the nations that have been eliminated from the 2026 World Cup qualifiers globally after the September round of qualifiers:

Togo, Tajikistan, Thailand, Gambia, Timor-Leste, Tonga, Turkmenistan, Turks and Caicos Islands, US Virgin Islands, Vanuatu, Vietnam, Yemen, Zimbabwe, Afghanistan, American Samoa, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Samoa, São Tomé and Príncipe, Seychelles, Somalia, Singapore, Solomon Islands, South Sudan, Sri Lanka, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Syria and Tahiti.

Others include Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Aruba, Bahamas, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Barbados, Belize, Bhutan, British Virgin Islands, Brunei, Burundi, Cambodia, Cayman Islands, Central African Republic, Chad, Chile, China PR, Chinese Taipei, Congo, Cook Islands, Cuba, Djibouti, Dominica, Dominican Republic and Ethiopia.

The remaining are Eswatini, Fiji, Gibraltar, Grenada, Guam, Guyana, Hong Kong, China, India, Kenya, Korea DPR, Kuwait, Kyrgyz Republic, Laos, Lebanon, Lesotho, Liechtenstein, Macau, Malaysia, Maldives, Mauritania, Mauritius, Papua New Guinea, Mongolia, Montserrat, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Peru and Palestine.
