In a bid to encourage young people to attain higher education in Ukanafun/Oruk Anam Federal Constituency, a foremost group, Hon. Unyime Idem Ambassadors, has distributed free Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) forms to candidates seeking admission into tertiary institutions.

This is in support of the effort of the member representing Ukanafun/Oruk Anam Federal Constituency of Akwa Ibom State and chairman, House Committee on Public Procurement, Rep. Unyime Idem, in encouraging educational advancement of his constituents.

The Hon. Unyime Idem Ambassadors are beneficiaries of the employments and foreign trainings facilitated by the lawmaker.

Addressing the recipients of the UTME forms, Coordinator of the group, Dr. Cosmas Udom, represented by the Secretary, Mrs. Otobong KenJoshua, admonished them to reciprocate the confidence reposed on them by scoring v high marks in the examination.

He noted that it is the wish of the Rep. Unyime Idem to see the beneficiaries soar very high in their academic pursuits and be great ambassadors of the federal constituency.

“Our gesture is in appreciation of our benefactor and principal, Rt. Hon. Unyime Idem, who by sending us on foreign trainings and facilitating employment for some of us, has empowered us for life and even our next generation.

“We’re therefore reciprocating his benevolence by trying to key into his vision of ensuring educational advancement for his people.”

You’ve seen his efforts in granting scholarships, educational support, bursaries, and even other forms of empowerment, to constituents in a bid to help them go to school with ease.”

“Yours is to settle and study so that you will score very high in the UTME examination, and stand a great chance of gaining admission into the university to study your choice course, so don’t take this granted.”

Responding, the beneficiaries expressed gratitude to the group for reaching out to them, promising to make the members, the Federal Lawmaker and the federal constituency proud.
