‎Aduvie International School, Abuja, hosted a captivating stage play titled Igenfina, performed by over 150 primary and secondary school students.
‎

The play told the story of a young girl’s fight for freedom and equality in a war-torn kingdom, promoting girl-child education and gender equality.

‎The production featured dynamic choreography, stunning costumes, and poetic storytelling, transporting the audience to a traditional African society. The cast’s exceptional acting prowess drew enthusiastic applause and emotional responses.
‎
‎Parents and educators praised the play, with one parent saying, “The performance made me speechless. Flawless and smooth. Well acted and roles well played.” Another added, “The decoration was top notch, and the cast crew did well.”
‎

Igenfina served as a call to action, highlighting the importance of education, courage, and unity in changing history.

The play recognized the transformative power of drama in education and advocated for more platforms supporting youth-led performances with strong social messages.

‎The play further emphasized the need to amplify stories that promote girl-child empowerment and challenge cultural biases. Additionally, it highlighted the importance of recognizing young talents and the positive impact of drama in education.
‎
‎The play also showcased the value of creative direction, choreography, and emotional depth in performances. Furthermore, it advocated for support for youth-led initiatives that convey strong social messages.
