In a shocking shake-up, Portuguese coach Sérgio Conceição has been fired by Italian Serie A team AC Milan only months after he was hired to manage the team.
The club’s hierarchy responded to a series of poor performances and mounting internal conflicts, prompting a swift managerial replacement.
Milan’s eighth-place finish under Conceicao means they won’t be playing in Europe next season, while rivals Inter take on Paris St-Germain in this weekend’s Champions League final.

Massimiliano Allegri is reportedly expected to make a spectacular comeback to San Siro, years after his first successful spell with the Rossoneri, where he guided them to a Serie A championship in 2010–11.
According to reports, talks for Allegri, who laced his boots as a midfielder for Pisa, Pescara, Cagliari, Perugia, and Napoli in his heyday, are advanced, and an official announcement is anticipated shortly.
The club is thought to be stabilized by Allegri’s return, which will provide tactical discipline and expertise to a team that has had trouble staying consistent.
